On the Taronga zoo trip, I had to pick one reptile and look at where it lives, it's feature and lot's more. my reptile was the the alligator.
The alligator's scientific name is Alligator Mississippiensis.
The alligator's teeth are very sharp so they can chew up their meat very well. you can usually tell the difference between a crocodile and an alligator because the alligator have all of the teeth that are sticking out would face down unlike a crocodile where they have teeth sticking out everywhere. they also have scales on their skin so they are protected. the alligator also has a scaly tail too. I couldn't see the full length of the crocodile because 1 was at the back and the other was mostly in the water. but I'd say the length of the alligator was 1.3 meters long and 30 centimeters high.
